Thank you for interest in recreating on Bureau of Land Management, Managed Public Lands. You can't obtain a fire permit by email or fax, it must be done it person. When will you arrive at Lucerne Valley? There may be BLM Staff you can obtain a permit from. You can also go by our Fire Station in Apple Valley and obtain a permit. If you should have any further concerns or questions, please feel free to email us or give our office a calling at (760) 252-600, our office hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm we are closed weekends and holidays. The BLM apparently has issued a Stage I fire restriction today 5-15-12 for the BLM land in Lucenre/Johnson Valley.

This fire restriction requires a permit for a BBQ or campfire for the race this weekend. Hello Everyone,

Amber Racing Services will be supplying fuel (F&L and VP) at the California 500 race. We will be set up across the street from Butcher Block Lumber.

I only have a few pre-orders at this time. Please get your orders in. Keep in mind it is always better to pre-order just to make sure we have the fuel on the truck that you are needing.

(Walk ups are also welcomed)

1400 class entries are adding up!! should be a great race, cant wait to get racing. We are always one of the most entries in our class.

Had a meeting with BLM yesterday. concerning speed zones at next race. there will only be one at the Start Finish area. there will be three outside areas set up for spectating, these areas will be back 200' and will be watched by the BLM and MORE personal. you must stay back in these areas. the cars will be allowed to go thur at race speeds.

Tech and Contingnecy will be across the street from Butcher Block Lumber Co in Lucerne. Same location as last year.

Class 10

How do you feel about making it legal to run the 2.4 engine in Single seat. Please post here or e mail me.

Brett I will try to contact all the regular class 10 people that support M.O.R.E. tomorrow and Thursday and see how they feel about this. and will get back to you. a couple of years ago we let a car run in the Holiday race with a 2.4 and we caught hell for it. with the way thing are now we need all the cars we can get to keep going and I think that is why the other organization are letting you race now. but to be fair to our supporters I need to asked them. and I have not forgotten how much you have suppported M.O.R.E. in the past. I hope we can work this out. Thanks Jim

We race a single seat class 10 car and would like to race class 10 at the Cal 500. BITD, SNORE and SCORE are now allowing this configuration for class 10. Can we race our car in class 10 in the Cal 500?
